Heatmap with Split Tiles

In Origin 2024, the heatmap template has been enhanced to support the display of multiple variables within a single heatmap cell, a feature referred to as Heatmap with Split Tiles under Plot: Contour menu. Each tile in the heatmap can be divided diagonally or horizontally/vertically to represent multiple values for each cell.

The supported data types for this template include:

  1. XYZXYZ… or multiple Z columns with shared X,Y columns, where X and Y columns are categorical
  2. XYZXYZ… or multiple Z columns with shared X,Y columns, where X and Y columns are numeric
  3. Multiple worksheets, each containing a potential virtual matrix
  4. Multiple virtual matrices
  5. Multiple ranges (potential virtual matrices) within one worksheet
  6. Multiple matrix objects within one matrix sheet

    1. If you’d like to apply a color scale to a specific group, start by clicking on the tile of that group in the graph. Then, click the ‘Add Color Scale’ button located on the toolbar on the left-hand side. Thank you.
