Start from Origin 2018, if user wants to insert Unicode characters into text, he just needs to enter the 4-character hex code for the character (e.g. 03BB for “λ”), then press ALT+X to convert it to Unicode. Below is a typical plot of avoid crossing plot for a two-state system. The text label is added via this method.
Note that with this method, Unicode can be easily inserted into worksheet cell or column label row as well. User doesn’t need to change the entry style to rich text as before. Please also check this FAQ page for more information regarding inserting special characters into texts.
